Caring for the mind and palette

When designing an office space, it’s important to think about setting the right tone. Comfort with tea, relax on simple fabrics and breathe in fresh air brought by live plants. For this therapist’s office, we played off the existing natural coastal theme and ran with it. We added luxurious wood, metal and glass textiles with a tea and coffee bar cart for people to feel right at home. It was also a great opportunity to add in handmade touches like a quirky whiteboard made from an old vintage door with a frosted glass. We also sprinkled in some sentimental keepsakes such as the artwork from the client’s travels and hanging ceramics. And of course an office wouldn’t be complete without some strategic storage solutions with the use of cabinets, custom shelving and thoughtful baskets.
